Life
Moved to Houston in 1964. Met my husband, Larry, in 1974, married in December, 1975, had my daughter, Penny, in November, 1976. Moved to Hoffman Estates, Illinois in March, 1977. our daughter, Lauren, was born in February, 23, 1979. Moved to our current address in Elgin, Illinois in 1980. 15 years. In 2000, I ran for the countywide office of Kane County Recorder and am presently in my second year of a 4-year term in a county of 400,000. Politics in Illinois is quite similar to politics in Louisiana. Interesting.
After a successful re-election campaign in 2004, I am now preparing to seek the office of Lt. Gov. of the state of Illinois.
