Sandra's Story
Life
After graduation and two years of Eastfield I went to work full time. I met my husband in 1983 and we made it official and got married Jan. 10, 1987. We have two children, Sean born in May 1991 and Jacob in Dec. 1993. They are both right at 6' now. Actually, Jacob is about 6'4"...just turned 16 in December.
We moved to Fremont, California in 1998 and than to Turlock, CA where we built our first house. We sold that house in 2005 and decided to rent and watch the market. My husband's union said there were better paying jobs in Las Vegas and the cost of living was lower. So, we moved to Pahrump, NV-about 65 miles west of LV....but though I liked the area and the clean air the job situation was not as promised.
We move back to CA and into our new house Au...Expand for more
g 2006. We live outside of Olivehurst, CA in an unincorporated are called Plumas Lake...about 35 miles north of Sacramento. We are surrounded by ranches, small bedroom communities, and rivers. Whew!!!!!! That's a lot of moving. No more for now...I hope!!!
I try to get back to TX once a year or so to see family and friends. Both parents live near Cedar Creek Lake and Fruitvale, respectively. One brother lives in Marshall, TX and the other in Flagstaff, AZ. My sister(and best friend) Rita passed on in 2003. But I still have my other best friend Debbie Cothrum Pederson in Balch Springs.
