Life
Hi,
I don't know if many would remember me, I was a habitual class cutter, hung out on the patio. It was a miracle I even graduated. After graduation I began working full time, then went to cosmetology school and worked as a hairdresser for a few years. Had a son when I was 23, moved to Sussex county NJ, what a bunch of rednecks up there, a big culture shock. Anyway I then began to work as a bartender in upstate NY where I met my future and now ex husband. I don't recommend hooking up in a bar LOL. After my divorce, went back to school and now I am a registered nurse, moved to Florida and here I am. I do miss the change of the seasons, but Fl is nice. Been here 2 years but may be up to Jersey in the Summer and take a contract as a travel nurse as my son goes up in the summer to see his father. t would be nice to speak with others from the class of 85 to see what you've been up to. I have been in touch with some of my friends but I was curious about this whole classmates thing. My brother has gotten in touch with quite a few people. It's funny how people change. So hope to hear from some long ago highschool friends. Take care. Sandra Geberth
PS I am in the yearbook amazingly enough but don't wear all that 80's make up anymore, can't believe I thought I looked good. LOL
Workplace
Hi,
I'll make it short and sweet. I became a cosmotologist/hairdresser, met someone, had a child. Did it on my own, became a bartender, got married, divorced, back to school, graduated, moved. My first job as a nurse in Fl, climbed up the ladder and now am a unit superviser of a cardiac floor. Not too bad for someone who cut class all the time. I finally grew up.....
