Sandra's Story
Life
I finished my BA and started grad school when I was 20; however, my MA didn't come along until I was in my 30s. I am still kicking around the notion of continuing my studies and perhaps actually finishing a PhD before I am 80. We will see how that plays out. :)
The day I finished my MA, I had to rush back to Alamo to move my mother out to DFW, Texas, near my oldest brother and me. It was sad driving away and knowing that I would no longer have a "home" in Alamo to return to when I get to visit again.

ing to do my favorite thing--travel! My husband got to visit Europe with me last summer when I took my students for a month-long exchange in Germany. We will be going again next summer.
Sadly, I have been horrible about staying in touch with people. No excuses. I suck as a friend! :)
Sylvia (Williams) and I see each other at least once a year and talk on the phone everytime I am sitting in the waiting room of an airport. :) I caught up with Vicky (Evans), who was a huge help when I was home to move my mom. Would love to catch up with others. Hope to hear from you! :)
