Sandra's Story
Life
After leaving the "country" school of James Wood, I entered the world of Handley,(so different) There I made some wonderful and lasting friends to add to my JW friends. Although I did not graduate with my class, I would love to see some of the 'ole' classmates. I guess I am pretty much the same person now that I was then, just have a few more laugh lines and still rely on the ole tint bottle (changes are fun) I still love to laugh and have fun. My life is full of important people....five grown children, ten grandchildren, an open minded and fun husband. My children are good adults, parents and friends. What more could I want? I still am in the interior design & display business part time, scrapbook all the time and active in local clubs and attend many lunchons and social events. I have been a medical office mgr.(boring),worked many aspects of funeral home work, been a skiptracer for a PI, resorts display for Disney and had my own interior design company specializing in antique malls and home make-overs.I have been published for my design and craft work. Tahoe, Las Vagas LA,Mexico and any place where there are large casinos. There is so much to see here in the US and I would love to see it. Each year we return to Winchester at Thanksgiving to visit family. A large part of my family still live there and in Md. I would love to see some of the friends I attended school with at James Wood as well as Handley. I did not keep in contact with anyone from the WVa Beauty Collage. Which by the way, was a very lucrative occupation for me for many years. I lived in Charleston,SC for thirteen years before moving to the Orlando, FL area where I reside today (since '75) Just celebrated my big 60 with hundreds of my family and friends at an area club. It was the first time in twenty years that all my children and my sisters children were together (always one missing from the group for one reason or another) I feel there is so much more to come (hope there is) ......soooo much more to do....love to share your life experiences and dreams....My pals were Buddy Rodgers, Bonnie Combs, Jimmy Fost,Virginia Young, Mary Mauck, Carol and Gail Miller and Butch Kern. Would love to know how everyone is doing.
