Sandra's Story
Life
Me, my husband of 20 years, and our soon to be 18 year old son, live in a nice town on the Oregon Coast, about 2 miles from the ocean. It rains a lot in the winter but the summers are definately worth waiting for.
Our son will be graduating from high school (I got a late start) this year and will be headed off to college the end of summer. He'll be going to NNU (Northwest Nazarene University)in Nampa Idaho to study media production.
My mother still lives in Durham and I guess loves it cause she won't leave. (We've tried) My ...Expand for more
husband and I will probably move back to the east coast one day but for now we must wait and see what the college grad does. I certainly don't want to miss out on gradkids.
Workplace
I have been office manager of the church I attend for the past 8 years and love it. Talk about knowing people in high places. I have got the boss of all bosses!
Military
I was in the Navy for 2 years 3 months and 9 days. Did "boot" in Orlando Florida and my first duty station was Jacksonville Florida where I met and married my husband of 20 years.
