Sandra's Story
We just had a Mother's Day Tea at the nursing home this afternoon. What a wonderful time for family and the residents. We gave honor to the oldest mother who was 96, and three who are 95. Amazing!
It is National Nursing Home Week and each day we do something special for residents and staff. Kind of like spirit day in High School, tomorrow is orange or yellow day, and we will be playing Bingo and all the prizes or yellow and orange. I wrapped them all so they don't know what it is, nice surprise. And we will be serving Hawaiian Pizza for residents and staff.
Wednesday is green day, so everyone will be green or Hawaiian dress. The activity for the residents is playing mind games/ a little trivia. We will be serving Apple Pie Ala Mode for everyone.

It is a blessing to be able to give back to others.
