Sandra's Story
Hi Fellow Classmates
I moved from Illinois to Massachusetts just after I got married to my wonderful husband in 1969. We are still married and will be celebrating our 39th anniversary in November. We have two children, a son, 37 and a daughter, 32. We also have 5 grandsons and are expecting our first grand-daughter next Wednesday, Sept. 17th. I had two accidents two months apart in 1998-1999 and am considered disabled and because I was a smoker, I also suffer from COPD and have no one to blame but myself. I quit smoking 9 1/2 years ago and although I'll never get better, my medication allows me to live a pretty good life. I just love to camp and spend my summers in Moody Beach, Maine. h out and sliding glass doors as well as a screenroom. We also own a small motorhome - I think it's 29 ft to travel outside of the Maine area. Yes, I love to fish as well - can you believe it? I find it so wonderfully relaxing and the trunk of my car is loaded with several rods as well as fresh and salt water tackle boxes. Yes, I bait my own hooks with clams to catch strippers and do the catch and release thing. My family is the most important thing to me. Since both my mom and dad have died, I have struggled to keep my family together for all the holidays and that hasn't been easy - lol. You're getting bored by now so will stop and wish you all health and happiness and hope to hear from anyone who might remember me.
