Sandra's Story

Life I have been married for 32 years, until November,2000, When by husband passed away with diebetes. WE have two children, a boy named Edward and a girl named Tina. We have four grandchildren, Ages 7,6,4,and3. We moved to N.C. in 1987. We had a small farm and enjoy having goats, cows and rabbits. Since my husband passed away , I have gotten rid of just about all of them. I worked fulltime and at produce store, as asst. manager. I am involed in church and enjoy working with children. I would enjoy talking with some of my classmates I went to school with. Since I was unable to go to the last union, I really would like to catch up on what everyone is doing and their families, etc. I...Expand for more
am really looking for my three best friends. Carolyn F., Faye B., and Sharon W., I would love to here from you. We were always together even when school was out. Since my last writing, I now have two more grandchildren. I have a grandson in the Air Force and a granddaughter in college. It's amazing how time flies by, the older we get the faster it goes. My Mother always told me that but never believed it, now I do. I am semiretired now and I am working part time as a caregiver here in Lexington ,NC. . I am hoping that I will be able to come to our 50th reunion but I am not sure at this time. If I can't make it I hope everyone has a great time. Dianne Battle Mahoney

Can't believe it has been 4 years since our Mother pass away. We all miss her so much and she was so special to all of us. She was always there if we needed her for anything. she loved the Lord with all her heart and soul.
Happy Mothers Day, Mother. Even though you aren't here with us, we all miss you so very much. You were the sweetest and most loving Mom a daughter could have and I miss you so very much. someday we will see each other again
