Sandra's Story
After graduation from Tulsa Central, I attended OSU. After OSU I became a Braniff International Flight Attendant late 1968 and flew until 1982. I married a Braniff pilot and had two sons. In 1975 my husband died, and I raised my sons in Dallas. I was a stay-at-home mom until they were both in college, SMU and Univ of Miami, FL, and then spent 15 years as a Realtor with Ebby Halliday Realtors in Dallas until moving to Southern California late 2005 where I currently reside in Huntington Beach. er moved to Central FL. Once the family home was sold, I have unfortunately not returned to Tulsa. I have many fond memories and good friends I am still in contact with today from my high school years at Central. What do I miss about Tulsa? Many things, but especially the black bottom pie at Pennington's......Kitty Hilsheimer and I would make our daily run for this delicious treat! Back then, a slice for only 25 cents! Still good friends with Kitty Hilsheimer Durkee and also Jan Mason Good, who I have known since 4th grade. 50 years! Hard to believe it has been that long!
