Sandra's Story
Life
Updated Bio.. Hmmm let's see where do I start?
I moved this year from Moorestown, where I spent almost 30 years. I bought a great new home in Mount Laurel. My son Collin who turned 7 in October started 1st grade at his new school and is doing very well. Both of my girls are married, Jenn is 31 and has been married for 8 years and Erin is 26 and is about to celebrate her 2nd anniversary. Me... I am not married, been there, done that 3 times and I am content to leave well enough alone. I am involved in a longterm relationship with my partner Andy who is also the bass player in my band.
The band, ('Wanted"), is enjoying the most incredible year once again. We seem to always be in the right place at the right time. This year alone we opened for Alan Jackson, Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, and Montgomery Gentry to name a few. We are on the road a little more then we use to be and are planning to continue expanding. We released our first full length CD in January and we are all very proud of it.
I continue to work part time as a veterinary receptionist/technician but the bulk of my time is spent with my son, his karate classes, baseba...Expand for more
ll and music. Some days it seems so exhausting but in the end I wouldn't trade my life for anything.
It has been a few years since I wrote my first updated bio and much has happened since. To begin with my son who was 7 at the time I first wrote, is now 14! I also became a grandmom twice over. Jenn's son is 5 almost six and started kindergarten this year and Erin's son just turned 5 and is also in kindergarten this year. Andy and married 5 years ago, the band is still going strong 12 years later. Collin is in his last year of middle school and will start HS next September. He is a great guitarist and spends his time doing parkour. For those that do not know what that is check out American Ninja Warrior on TV. That is the stuff he is doing. I went back to college and graduated in May 2013 with dual degrees and with honors. (That should be quite a shock to any of my old teachers at Northern.) I will continue on with college but I am taking a semester off. I am working as an allied therapist with troubled youth and still work very part time at a veterinary office. (I just can't leave my dog and cat clients even though I have human ones now)
