Martha's Story
Life
I'm happy as can be. I'm greatful for have loving friends and family, especially my mother, whom I admire.
School
I did have a short lived crush on a popular boy. To be honest, I really can't recall a teacher who inspired me in high school. It was only when I attended college that I meet a few professors who gave me the gift of knowledge and turned my life around. If I could do it all over again, I would not want to go back and relive my past, and I would not change anything. Everything happens for a purpose, and all the good and bad experiences has made me the special person I am today. My upmost funniest, happiest, and craziest school memories were shared by my best friend to this day, Barbie.
College
I've earned an AA degree in History at MiraCoasta College...Expand for more
in Oceanside,CA where I also studied fine arts. Then I went to CAl State San Marcos Univeristy where I studied ethnic studies, grahpic arts, video production and earned a BA in Visual Performing Arts, in the Art and Technolody field. My memories in San Diego were great. I will alway be greatful for the interesting friends I meet and how I much I've learned.
Workplace
And yes, I can still remember working at Pioneer Chicken to pushing carts at Vons Supermarket. Then I worked as a tutor, teacher assistant, and puppeteer for California Mini Corps, Cal State San Diego Univeristy. I then worked as a caregiver, computer technician, and now I'm currently working in an emergency room in the admitting department. I enjoy working with the community. I plan to move into the medical field.
