Sandra's Story
Life
After graduation, I attended and graduated from UVA with a B.A. in English/History. I returned home and was set up on a blind date with Andy Vann by two people who didn't know we already knew one another. We got married in 1991 and we now have three children - Caroline 12, Nathan 7, and Grace 5. I went back to work full time in March 2006 with ComputerTraining.com in Chesapeake as a Director of Placement, assisting students and graduates of the program with Career Services. I was promoted in March of 2007 to Regional Career Services Manager and was responsible for Career Services at 7 locations in VA, DE, OH, IN and GA. Andy went to the Apprentice School for about a year and decided it wasn't for him. He later decided to go to truck driving school. He drove a liquid nitrogen tanker truck for Air products and Chemicals for the last 9 years and recently left to be a full time dad. He is working on getting back to school and getting a degree so that he can become a teacher - he served as the director of the youth department for our church for many years and also taught sunday school and coaches flag football.
We are both very involved with our church and our children. We had fun at the reunion 4 years ago and hope to see you all again soon!
