Sandy's Story
I got married 3 weeks after graduating High School and moved the Vallejo and then to Ukiah, California. I have been in Ukiah for 28 years now and am still married to the same man.
I have three kids, but have been devastated in life as my two boys (age 13 and 19) have passed away tragically over the last couple of years in separate incidences. My youngest child, my daughter is 18 now and beautiful. She is currently in College.
Over the years, I was a stay-at-home mom but was active in my community. I worked to get a school bond passed, was the president of Little League, President of the Pony/colt Leauge, Ukiah H...Expand for more
igh School Boosters Vice-President and chairwoman for the annual dinner/auction. I spent LOTS of time in all the classrooms of my children, and was the typical volunteer for anything that was needed.
Life has been difficult the last few years with our losses, so my husband retired from his company a couple of months ago and we are thinking about moving somewhere away. Where to is the question? Anyhow we are pretty young retiree's and hope that we can get away and do lots of different things. We have traveled a little bit and am looking forward to doing more.
