Sandra's Story
Hi!! Welcome, and thank you for checking out my profile. Hmmm....well, let see...I only attended Warren for 1 1/2 years, so I only knew a few people (I was very quiet and kept to myself during high school, so this is how most people remember me, as the quiet girl who sat in back of the class and got the top grade, haha).
I really have no room to complain because I've been very blessed in many ways in the last 19 years...I obtained my BA from Cal State Long Beach in 1995, and have had many jobs in the last 14 years that have allowed me to gain a great amount of professional experience. Over the years, I have worked as a social worker/case manager, counselor, discharge planner, and even as a substitute teacher (I had planned to obtain my teaching credential some years ago but unfortunately my plans changed). I married 7 years ago; we had our differences; I truly gave it my best, but unfortunately, 4 1/2 y...Expand for more
ears into the marriage, we ended up splitting up and divorcing. I have a beautiful 6 year-old daughter who is my pride and the light of my life...she's truly what I live for and my reason for striving to become a better person everyday.
Back in the day, like I mentioned earlier, the people that knew me probably remember me as being a sweet, quiet girl who kept out of the limelight. I'm still sweet (haha), but I can honestly say that in the last 2 decades, God has helped me grow, mature, and become the person I am today: social, assertive, focused, and most of all, understanding of the needs and struggles of others, always willing to help people in whatever I can.
