Sandra's Story
After LHS I attended and graduated from California Baptist University in Riverside, CA. I was married in 1968 to John Heflin and we had three wonderful children. I went back for my Masters in Deaf Education to CSUN, Northridge and have taught in and directed Deaf Education Programs throughout CA as well as interpreted in various settings since College where I learned Sign Language in the Deaf Community.

I just added photos of my recent cruise (Dec. 2010) to the Bahamas. What a blessing! If you have not taken a cruise, I highly recommend it. I had a wonderful time! We stopped in Charleston, SC, Key West, FL Nassau, Bahamas, and then went to a private island, CocoCay. I0 days of being spoiled rotten and having fun. It was a study cruise, so I was attending classes also, for my interpreting certification renewal.
