10-27-11 Here I am sitting at my P.C. at 5:55 A.M., been awake since 3:45 A.M. What happen to all that energy I use to have when I graduated in 1964? I was 16 when I graduated from ACADEMY HIGH SCHOOL, Back when I started kindergarden, I was 4 years old, turning 5 in December! My life has been quite an experience that GOD has had full control of since the day I was born. I was very active in Youth For Christ as soon as I found out about it. "I LOVED YOUTH FOR CHRIST, AND MY SCHOOL DAYS. I recall we thought school was tough sometimes, we had no idea, what "TOUGH" was?? I met my first husband at YFC, we started to have BIBLE studies together, and well.......one thing led to another, and we were married on JULY 24, 1966! He was a quite man, but really had a lot to say. "I loved HIM VERY MUCH!" I thought how wonderful life is, I am married, pregant, and living in Wesleyville p.a.! My husband, GARY EDINGER, worked at G.E. and made good money for a young man straight out of HIGH SCHOOL! We attended the Church of GARYS' choice, and I met several wonderful families, who truly were "great Christians!" I was a bit heavy, when we married, I wanted to loose weight, so WITHOUT telling the very old Doctor, I dieted the entire time I carried our first child, Kimberly Carol Edinger! Kim weighed in at 9LBS & 70ZS. and she was 22 inches long. She was a big baby. I was told every child I had after Kim would be larger. Not so, each child grew smaller. Kim was our joy and gave us so much happiness. She was followed by Deborah Christine Edinger, in 1969, 2/1/2 years after Kim was born. Then surprise of all surpises, we had another girl, MICHELLE LEIGH EDINGER, on June 17, 1970, just 16 months after Deborah was born. I was very busy at this time in our life. Gary did help out with the girls, he would take them for a walk, after supper, every night durning the summer.We had a friend at Church who put a good word in for us, and we were the first family to move into a new developement on East 26th Street. I could not believe, how wonderful this house was. A split level home, we loved! I worked hard in our new home. I painted every room, with the help of my younger sister, who lived with us for a while. We had so much fun, decorating this beautiful home. I was so thankful for this home. for some reason we lost this home after 7 years! I thought at this time in my life, I would die, but no GOD came in and gave us much comfort. We really were lost for a while, until my sister and her husband bought a home for us. Yes, they are great people. We paid them rent, and when the home was paid for it was ours! It seems something had different plans for our life. Drastict changes started to take place in Gary, and my self. He seemed so different. In my "gut" I knew something was really wrong. We had all we neede, but Gary seemed to want more! Well, on July 14, 1978, our home burned. It was a very suspicious fire? We did not have a phone, so all the neighbors called the fire company, just down the road. We had a "FIRESTATION" about 4 blocks east of our home. But, somehow, the city of ERIE, sent a fire station from several miles away. Thank-God no one was physically injured! Even our dog and cat survived! Gary & myself lived with my mother for a few weeks, and she saw things I didn't even realize were going on.Again I thought I would die, but the entire Church my family attended was praying for us, the prayers helped me tremendo...Expand for more
