Sandra's Story
I graduated wth the Salem HS class of 1956 and within a month was liVing in MI
and woekinfg at Whirlpool Corp. was there almost 6 years....,narried in '58
divorced 5 years later and then went to work at Autp Specialties Mfg Co...met
second husband there and we had 42 years together. Adopted a son when he was 24 days old but lost him at age 37 due to a drug overdose....he had an
abcessed tooth and rook meds given to him by dentiist but they were not workimg
very well and a so called "friend" gave him something with a name as lonn g as m y

took and he was dead by 5:30 , We had moved to VA by
then and were on Timberlake for 16 years Transferred to Ohio in 94, living on the banks of the River for 5 years and then back to VA Lost older brother Jack - class
of '54 in '03, then son Jeff Oct of '05 and then husband in o6. Am mighty lonely
at times but living with my sadness My granddaughter and her boufriend were
