Sandra's Story
Hello out there. For me, the big lesson is: Life is bizarre and ever unfolding! My husband, hound dog pup, old cat, and I live in a 50's style bungalo in Capitola, near Santa Cruz. After years of commuting and teaching at Evergreen Valley College in San Jose (English/Honors Program, etc), I decided to retire a year ago. Family predicted I would never last. Wrong--I don't even have time to be a bum. My husband still works part time from his home studio on art glass commissions, which involve me a bit. I am headed to Scotland next fall to see my older son & family who moved there last year. Many of my friends are writers, artists, current or former teachers--a wondrous circle of peers. I'd love to hear from fellow graduates/survivors from '63 ish years and wish all of you well.
