Sandra's Story
Since leaving Mills, I was married for 33 years, raised two children. My husband and I moved to Tucson, started a Auto and Truck Salvage yard. Rebuilt cars. Traveled to every state in the U.S. except South Dakota, Alaska, and Hawaii. Retired from the Salvage Business in 1995. Moved to Mexico and have basically led a wonderful life. I've worked many different jobs, certified Pharmacy Tech, Photo lab Tech, Interior Decorating,Owned my own housecleaning business, Owned a gift shop. My husband and I invested and bought real estate and sold that for income. Right now I am back in Torrington working for a couple of years until I reach retirement age. Life has been good to me!!I have a wonderful family, many friends!! The picture in my profile is in the state of Sonora Mexico, Kino Bay. My first job was at Finast, where I got paid $15.00 per week to cashier . What I remember most about it is Great to have a job!!.
