Sandy's Story
Graduated in "66". Took a year off and joined the Army in October "67". Went to Bangkok, Thailand in March of "68". Spent a year there and was sent to Germany in March of "69". I did a lot of traveling in Europe. I was born in Sicily, Italy so being in Germany made it easier to visit relatives in Sicily. I had a volkswagen. Drove to Sicily twice and stopped in several places along the way. Rome, Florence, Verona, Capri. I finished Army life in june of "70". Worked for Bethlehem Steel for one year. Then I was in the carpet business for thirteen years. Left there and got into electrical work for Baltimore City. Still there at present. Love to fish and relax on the water. Every other year I go back to Italy with my dad. Still have a lot of relatives there. I've been into scuba diving for about twenty years. Every where I go I try to go diving. The best place I've been diving is Cozumel and the coldest is Sicily in May. Being under water is a sight to remember. There are still many other places to dive before I quit.

y listening to classical music.
I like to watch football but my biggest obsession is the world cup soccer games every four years. I had several teachers that I respected in school. Sandra Shanrock-English, John Sansone-Gym, Rona Balcer-Biology. They knew when to teach and when to take a one minute break. I would love to be on a sandy beach under a palm tree in the Pacific drinking something cool with anyone that wanted to go.
I still talk to my first crush. We've known each other since the forth grade. She married one of the guys that was in my class at Patterson. My oldest friend was Ron Perrone. We met at Ellwood Park. Both of us played sports and we were friends for a long time. I got to know his mom. Really nice lady.
A big Victory was being a part of the Institute of Notre Dame family. I coached girls soccer and softball there. Best time I ever had coaching and the players and parents were exceptional. I was fortunate in having a great athletic director-Linda King. Thanks Ms. King." How" is not the question but that you are remembered.
