Sandy's Story
Well, I left West High School in the middle of my Jr Year when my mom left my dad and took me and my younger sister to Alabama. It was tough moving that year and trying to adjust to a new environment where the Southerners were so different from us Northerners. I fininshed college at Birmingham-Southern with a Bachelor of Music degree. I moved to Arizona to work on my Masters degree and then I moved to California. I became a guest soloist on Dr. Schuller's "Hour of Power" and travelled the country singing in various churches....Expand for more
I met my current husband in California and we have a daughter who is 13 yrs old. We also have two dogs: a pug and a poodle. We are back in the south and I teach voice, piano and drama to about fifty different students. I also continue to sing and travel to different churches. My daughter is an avid equestrian and won two blue ribbons this past weekend. My father passed away eleven years ago and my mother is still living. My three sisters are alive and well.
