Sandy's Story
Hello, It's been along time, Life has been good and it hasn 't always been the best, But it has made me a stronger woman because of it. I live in Kansas and what a state it is !! I work for the worlds best and top selling auto maker and have for 14 years . My husband died in September 2000 and we were married for 20 years. I have 2 children, Amy Nichole and Nickolas. I also have 3 grand daughters, Mia 8, Maddie 16 , and my son's daughter sweet Zoey who is 3, and my grandson Dexter who is 1 year old. I love the ocean and the mountains. For that matter I love to travel and experiance culture and meet new people and make new friends. I enjoy photography, music, poetry, making seaglass jewelry , decorating my home and I also do some writting . I have a respect and love for the Native American indians and help when ever I can . Being here in Kansas there is always a Native American gathering to learn more about their lives and their culture. In 1992 I donated some of my native American items to the American Indian movement in Russia. And on display at the Mosscow Center in Russia. My grandparents ( Beenneman ) taught me the respect for the indians and I will always love and remember them for that. I always see life as half full and never half empty. ...Expand for more
I have a saying..... I want to be alive when it's my time to die, and not aready half dead. I have places yet to see and cultures to experience and people to meet and talk with. I enjoy listening to Adel, The Beatles , Bruce Springsteen, Jackson Brown, and many many more of all kinds of music, but there is one group that I have the most love for and thats The Moody Blues. When I was a young teenager a dear friend intorduced me to the Moody Blues and the song was Nights in White Satin, I will never forget that perfect and kind person and a gentleman who brought young love for the first time to my heart. Maybe one day our paths will cross again and I can thank him. ............. I hope all of you have experianced life full as I have. I have a wish that someday I will find the love of a kind man that will cherish me....................................... As my friend Arthur Short Bull told me........ that I have many spirits that are always with me.
Arther's great grandfather ( Grant Short Bull ) and Arther's great uncle ( He Dog Short Bull )
were warriors who rode with Crazy Horse ...... Arthur is a well known Native American Artist and Writer. He is Oglala Lakota from the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. He is a great man and a friend.
