Sandy's Story

Sandy is from Santa Ana, California. Sandy's schools include Saddleback High School. Sandy works(ed) at Shilo Management, The Coeur D'alene Resort. Music Sandy likes includes Like Oldies. One of Sandy's favorite quotes is:"Every dog has its day but a dog with a broken tail has a weekend". More about Sandy:"I have four beautiful grandbabies that are my life Waytt 12, Isabella 8, Calixto 4, and Emmit 4. Isabella and Calixto are liveing near Mexico City for 2 years thanks to their daddy's job and Waytt and Emmiy live in southern california So right now I'm a empty nest grandma Been or Lucky". This is my second entry, just to clear up some years. My grandbabies are still the light of my life. But there is so much more that makes me who I am today. I wasn't in any of the year books because it wasn't all that cool for me, I was more into getting high with my best friend Teri and going down to Laguna to the El Camino Hotel, it was like this huge crash pad. Where we all dropped out got high and made love. It was the time of the season. After school I married my Dads friend we were married 6 years and had two beautiful babies. My youngest was 2 then we called it quits. It was then that my night life began and being from Santa Ana the only place to party was the Boat House I partied there for years then went across the street to the 500 club and became a bar tender. Truly a ruff job takes a lot out of a person ones who like to drink anyway. It was there I met my second man and father to my last baby, we drank together for years then my Mom died of ...Expand for more
cancer and I lost it big time the day after Mom died I went home and all kinds of people were taking things off the wall and going through all her stuff it made me sick so I grabbed her pill box and ran out. After that I stayed drunk and loaded for the next six months. One really dead night at the bar I was 12 stepped by a member of AA That was the 9th of Oct 1982 that's the date of my last drink I got sober Oct 10 1982 so this coming Oct I'll have 31 years of sobriety. Hasn't all been a slice of heaven but it has been really real. I lived in Tustin and I stayed with my second for 14 years and after our daughter was born it was time to move on. For no real reason I decided to move up to the Great North West. My daughter and I were by are self for 7 years and then one night I was in Albertson getting something for my daughter lunch and I guess I was talking to myself anyway this sweet guy came by heard me and answered me. We were married a year later and have been together for 15 years. So it's true you can find true love in the grocery store. We met in frozen foods isle 9 worked for me. I was an accountant for years and retired early a few years ago, now I'm a stay at home Lucky and life is good could be better and I could be 17 again but not likely. Now all of you are good memories even if times were bad, when I look back it all makes sense. I've taken bits of all my life to makeup my tapestry It's beautiful, and so are all of you.
