Sandy's Story
Can't believe its been 48 years since we graduated.
Since high school, I got married in 1970 and moved to Eugene, Oregon. My husband had two years left of school at U of Oregon. Go Ducks!!!!! He graduated in summer of 1972 and we moved to Portland, Oregon where we have lived ever since. I have had several different jobs, starting with retail,
House of Values, and K-Mart. I worked in the medical field: internists office, eye doctor. I also had a bookkeeping business that I worked out of my house. In 1982, our daughter was born, and in 1984 our son was born. In 1983 my husband started his own architectural firm. It started with 2 people and has grown to three offices, Portland, OR, Seattle, and recently San Francisco. Stu is now retired from his firm. ered at their school all those years until they were in 8th & 10th grades when I worked at the jr/high school. I was assistant to the principal and I was the attendence secretary (tardy lady). I loved that job!!! I also worked as a marketing assistant to a senior housing project that is now built and thriving in South Waterfront area in Portland. I am currently retired but am on call if needed at the Jr/high school. My husband and I will be celebrating 48years of marriage in September 2018. Cannot believe how fast time has gone. Our daughter graduated from Azusa Universitiy in 2005, married an Australian in 2014 and currently living in Portland. Our son lives in Portland and graduated from the Art Institute of Portland in 2011. My mom and dad still live in the same house. They are 90 and 88.I have had a GREAT life, and would love to see everyone at a reunion.
