More about Sandy:"I was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, have lived in Chicago, Denver and Los Angeles. Raised in San Bernardino, CA, where I went to Pacific high school. After graduating from UCLA, I was a stewardess for Continental Airlines based in Denver and flew domestically. Married Rick Kay, whom I had grown up with, and lived in Boulder, CO during his senior year playing football for CU. He was drafted by the LA Rams, so we moved back to LA, where I worked for Dick Vermeil in the UCLA Athletic Office (1973-74) while pregnant with my first son, Eric. After Rick's career ended with the Rams (1973- 1977), we moved to Orange County and bought a home, where we raised our family, Eric and Kelly and Brett. o school to study interior design and began an internship with McKeever & Company in Newport Beach. I then joined Lavonna Hopkins & Assoc. Interior Design in 1981 and began a successful 22 year career with that firm. After Lavonna retired, I started my own company, Kay & Company Interior Design and have enjoyed continued success, having homes featured on the Villa Park home tour, participating in the OC Philharmonic Showcase House and being published. I count my greatest treasure among the many repeat clientele I have had through the years. My son, Eric, graduated from Villa Park High and Pepperdine University and has worked for the Angels Baseball Team in Anaheim since 1996, where he is currently the Media Relations Manager. He is Married to Camela and they have 3 boys, Tanner, Carter and Hudson. Kelly Kay Miller graduated from Mater Dei High School and Cal State Fullerton with a degree in Child Development/Education. She married Steve Miller and they have 2 boys, Ryley and McKay. Brett also graduated from Mater Dei and received a full baseball scholarship to Cal State Fullerton, where he played catcher and went to 2 NCAA College World Series. He was then drafted by the NY Mets, where he played for 3 years in the minors before retiring. He is currently the Head Varsity Baseball Coach at J Serra High School and was awarded OC Coach of the Year. My many friends, family, grandsons and Boston Terrier Petey make my life very rich. In between, I love to watch tennis, baseball and am a "true crime addict". In my life, I have had to follow my "Rigid plan of ultimate flexibility!"".
