Sandy's Story
Life
Since leaving Bethel, been on the move- lived in Utah, then back to Okla. After divorcing Shane Linnell, I then moved to the South Pacific, living on a small 2 mile x 1/2 mile island called Roi-Namur in the Kwajalein Atoll. Talk about a tropical paradise...loved it. After a few years there, moved to Guam and it is tropical, but not as small and Exciting as Roi. Living in the South Pacific is an awesome experience and the culture difference is something I have enjoyed and will always remember.
I have two children, one grand-daughter and one grandson. All are great kids and I am proud of them. My son just completed 2 tours in Afghanistan, and my daughter is now living in WA with her husband and my grandson. I am recently married and live in Montana and enjoy the great fishing. My husband and I purchased a Video Store in 2005 and have added a novelty store within the business. I work for the US Post Office since 20...Expand for more
05 and we recently purchased matching motorcycles. I believe we should all reach out and embrass life to the fullest. We only go around once and I, myself never want to wake up one day and find myself to "old" to go anywhere. We travel and/or experience life daily.
Stay young and alert and enjoy life and those you love!!!
Workplace
I really was living and working for Raytheon in the middle of the South Pacific, about 2500 miles South of Hawaii- but the islands are not listed to choose. I lived on a small tropical island- Roi-Namur, in the Kwajalein Atoll. Island is 2 miles long and 1/2 mile wide. Transportation is a bicylce and no crime of any nature. We always said "We live in Paradise and they pay us to work there" Fishing is out of this world if under 60 Lbs. you throw it back. Seriously! Snorkeling and diving is undescribable. Water is bathtub warm as the temp. is 82 degrees 365 days a year.Miss that place!!!
