Sandy's Story

Life I have been living and working in Yorba Linda for the past eighteen years. I am married and have two daughters. Amanda and Alissa, 16 and 14. I am currently teaching third grade here. My daughters are heavily involved in sports and that takes up all of our time. You will find us at the softball or soccer fields or on the basketball or volleyball courts. way. Since moving from Paramount, I finished high school in Fountain Valley and then went to Cal-State Long Beach where I got my teaching credential. I met my husband, Al in college and although we have been together ever since, we got married in 1988. I worked in worker's comp insurance for several years and have been back teaching for 10 years. My family is my greatest source of pride and I am enjoying my daughters' teenage years even though it is a whirlwind of activities!
