Sandy's Story
Life
I've been married to my second husband for 25 years. My daughter is 32, married, with a son, 5, and a daughter 9 months. My son is 30, married, with a 6 year old son. We have a dog named Joey who is suppossed to be part Greyhound and part golden Lab. He is about 2 years old, we think. He's been with us since April 2004. That is when our beloved Bumper died of cancer. Joey had been named that by his foster parent because he sits and jumps very much like a kangaroo, and he is so funny when he plays with us!

grandparents are deceased. For those of you who knew my DJ and Bill they are still hanging in there, and will have their 50th wedding anniversary in July after Bill has his 80th birthday in March (2 days before I turn 50).
My grandchildren are the joy of my life. I spent 15 years of cross-country trucking running California, Oregon, and Washington, but I had failed spinal surgery and am now disabled. I'm putting off knee replacements on both knees (the right one has a screw in it), and my grandchildren are able to bring joy right through the pain I have every day in my knees and back.
