Sandy's Story

Life Lived in New Orleans for 31 years until Katrina paid a visit. Our area of the city flooded and at a friend's suggestion we moved to Tuscola. My youngest daughter was a senior that year and graduated from Tuscola High School. some really wonderful kids. It was a great experience for her! I'm an IT contractor for Chevron & I've been able to keep my job & work from home since the hurricane. I'm happy to be living in Tuscola, words I never really expected to ever say, but the peace and quiet (after living in New Orleans) are a welcome change.
