Sandy's Story
Married my high school sweetheart, he was a 1964 grad from Lincoln. Had two beautiful daughters but divorced after 9 years. Met former Wilson classmate and Tacoma fire fighter Bob Svendby while he was inspecting the dental office I was working in. We will be celebrating our 30 year wedding anniversary in January, 2010.
Bob and I retired 10 years ago and since then we have enjoyed traveling to Arizona in our motorhome, taken 8 cruises and trips to Hawaii where Bob's sister owns a coffee plantation in Kona. I am an avid equestrian and Bob is quite the golfer. I go on many riding adventures with my sister and lady friends where we camp in our campers and enjoy good old mother nature. otorhome to Arizona to enjoy some of that sought after sunshine. Bob is able to golf year around that way. Best of all, we truly enjoy our home in Gig Harbor, family(my parents are still alive and well, dad is 96 and mom is 85 and they are still living at home), our kids (Bob's 2 girls and my 2 girls) and 10 grandchildren and dear friends. Life has been good.
Worked on our 45 year class reunion and was wonderful. Everyone commented that it was "The Best Yet". Had a great time seeing old friends. Looking forward to our "50 Year".
