Douglas's Story

As I write this in 2021, It's been a long journey since I graduated in 1968! But as my 30 year old Son says, "Dad, your'e stuck in the 60's! I laugh and say, your'e right, but it's not a bad place to be! So here's a quick update on the last 50 years, primarily living in the Southwest. I graduated with a Masters from Florida State University. I live with my wife in Tempe, Arizona and am semi-retired. My twin brother, Mike, lives down the street and we see each other frequently. Life has been and is very good with many blessings. After three years in the US Army as an Intelligence Officer I went to work for the Atomic Energy Commssion. pe projects including nuclear weapons systems for the US Government. I am retired from Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico. My career also involved international assignments in Russia, Japan, France and several other countries. For the past 20 years I have been a consultant and Vice President of Corporate Development as a part owner of a project management company, PMtec Inc. Hobbies include motorcycles, classic cars (72 Pantera & 65 Mercury Comet), shooting sports, staying in shape, bowling and travelling. Of importance to my story, Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. Wow, enough about me, to my 1968 classmates, drop me a line and let me know how you are doing! Go Trojans. Regards, Doug Sankey
