Sara's Story
Life
I am married, am the mother of seven adult children, one stepdaughter and have nine grandchildren.
For fourteen years I worked as a high school and college teacher in Marysville, California and as an academic director and high school principal for several years.
In late 1998 I moved to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, taught English classes at the University of Guadalajara/PROULEX and since 1999 I've worked in casting at Mexico Casting/Casting Valdes (mexicocasting.com/new) the casting company my husband and I founded that year. I've appeared in several commercials, and had a couple of bit parts in films but I very much prefer working on the other side of the camera.
A few recent films in which we've had the pleasure of working in casting are Paramount's "Nacho Libre," Columbia/Sony's "Vantage Point,", "The Heartbreak Kid," "You Don't Mess With the Zohan," Disney's "Beverly Hills Chihuahua", Universal's "Fast and Furious" (AKA Fast and Furious 4.) Relativity Media's "Limitless."
Since I've moved a lot I've lost contact with almost everyone I went to school with, and would love to hear from you and find out how you are.

Over the years, I've lived in so many places. I'm originally from Burbank and I went to part of junior high and high school there but went to elementary school in Sylmar. I also went to junior high in Saugus and graduated from Apple Valley High School, I hold great memories of friends from those places and also from Wrightwood, California where I lived for the last half of my high school years. Aside from different cities in Southern California I've lived in Northern California, Oregon, Colorado and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
One of my favorite things to do is travel - I love being at home and where we live but get wanderlust after a while...luckily my work takes me all over to interesting places for long periods of time so that I'm ready when it's finally time to come home.
