Workplace
Worked at Newberry's during school for 3 years.
After graduation, I went to work at Fairchild National Semiconductor. While working the graveyard shift at Fairchild, I attended Foothill college for 2 years.
Left Fairchild to work at National Semi while continuing college.
Worked at National for 2 years. Then worked as an Antique purchaser for 4 years while completing college.
Started working at Bank of the West in 1981 as a teller. I have worked up from a teller, also holding the positions of Merchant Teller, Vault Teller, Collections Teller, Utility employe...Expand for more
e (Roving employee assigned to do any position within the bank), Assistant Customer Service Manager, and am now a Assistant Vice President and Customer Service Manager with Bank of the West. I just had my 26 year Anniversary with the bank. One of the fun aspects of my job is that when we buy or merge with another bank, I get to go on conversion which is helping the purchased or merged bank learn Bank of the West computers, procedures and polices. It is very busy and hectic for 2 weeks, but I get a sense of accomplishment when the branch or department is up and running smoothly.
