Sarah's Story
Life
I attended Lane College in Jackson, Tennesse from 1997-2002. Afterwards I earned a bachelors of science in biology with a minor concentration in secondary education. Then I returned to Michigan and taught for Mount Clemens Community School District for nearly two years and decided that was no longer a career path for myself. So, I took a postion as an account manger with a healthcare company for nearly a year. In 2004 I chose to become a mother and wife. When my son approached one year of age (2005) I furthered my education with post-bachelors degree work in forensic science at Marygrove College in Detroit and completed that program in 2006. In the fall of 2007 I began attending Wayne State University's school of Mortuary Science for my professional degree. During this time my daughter was born which now makes me very busy. I have hopes of business ownership and teaching on the collegiate level one day, but am very flexible and will persue other avenues if opportunities arise.
