After high school I attended the Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing in Phila..
After one year I left school & got married to my boyfriend who was just discharged from the Army.
Then we started a family..
After having 4 children - 2 boys & 2 girls I went to work for our local Doctor.
He trained me in drawing blood - so I did the bloodwork & insurance billing for him. I was there for about 10 years. I became a Certified Medical Assistant.
Then left & worked parttime for an OBGYN Dr & taught swim lessons at the loca...Expand for more

From there I started work at the Hanover General Hospital in Hanover,Pa. I started in the registration dept. then went full time in the billing office. Started billing commercial insurance then went on to Medicare billing..
I have been working with the medical insurance field for years..
Right now I am working with the worker's compensation billing for Lehigh Valley Health Network in the billing dept located in Allentown, Pa.
Yes I am still working. Cannot afford to quit & am thanking GOD daily for my work..
