Sarah's Story
At Franklin Mr. Fuji selected me as class artist our senior year. That's probably how I would be remembered.
After graduation I majored in fine arts for a year and then got married and started a family. I continued to take art courses while mostly being a stay-at-home mother. Pacific University--where I earned my BSN in 1986. I worked as a maternal/ newborn nurse at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle for 15 years and then took a leave of absence to work on a graduate degree. In 2007 I earned an MSN from University of Phoenix. I now teach nursing at Highline College in Des Moines, WA. As far as art is concerned, I continue to draw and paint. In May 2011 my work was shown in my exhibit Artist Interrupted at Highline College.
