Sarah's Story
Life
I left Harlingen in 1993 to finish school. I earned a BA in psychology and sociology and an MA in psychology. FINALLY! I am planning on returning for more (school)but I haven't decided where. I have been living in Corpus Christi for the past 6 1/2 years. I am working as a drug and alcohol counselor, mental health counselor, and I now own an agency. I am not married - it doesn't help that I keep turning down offers and I have no children - I still have so much that I want to do first. At the time of this profile, I terminated a 6-year relationship and love being single. I missed our 10-year high school reunion but I plan on being at our 20th. Hope to see you there!
College
I started at Pan-AM University. I also went to Texas Southmost College, University of Texas/Pan-AM, University of Texas - Brownsville, and Texas State Technical College. I eventually left Harlingen and moved to Kingsville to finish college. I finally did and graduated twice. I graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Sociology. In 1999, I graduated with a Master's degree in Psychology. I WANT TO GO BACK!

en my father. I left Harlingen to finish school in Kingsville. For awhile, all I did was be a student but then I had to work to offset expenses. I worked as a waitress at an all night restaurant there. I finished undergraduate school and had every intentions of leaving Kingsville to go to graduate school somewhere else but I didn't. I was offered a management position at the restaurant. I did that for awhile then I was also working as at an instructor at the university in Kingsville. I eventually started working as a drug counselor for the juvenile probation office in Sinton, Texas. I left there after 2 years and went to work for another agency. I was promoted to program director after 10 months and ran the criminal justice department for 3 almost 4 years. I eventually started my own agency in October of 2003 and I love being self-employed. I work long hours and 7 days a week but I wouldn't have it any other way. I also work on the naval base in Corpus Christi at the substance abuse department and I hope to start teaching at the local college.
Military
Nope, didn't do this. I dated a marine for 6 years and almost married him. I dated someone in the navy but wouldn't marry him. That's enough military for me.
