Life Well, let's see. I hung around LA for a number of years. Spent a couple of years in Massachusetts, getting to know my dad again. When he died in '95, we were good friends, and while it was sad to see him go, it was also peaceful. After about a year as a secretary, I got a job at a trading firm as a wire operator. Within two years, I passed the broker's exam and became a trader. Some of you may remember from our 10 year reunion that I had just started trading in 1984. That career lasted until 1991, when I just couldn't stand it anymore, and quit. I was a small, democratic female in a tall, republican male world. Too much stress!!! I had always played guitar and sang, and had written a number of songs. In 1990 I helped form a folk band. We were known as the "Harmony Exchange" because we liked vocal harmony. I thought the name stuffy, however, and thought we should have been called the "Insensitive Bufoons" (my band mates wouldn't go for it, though).
