Sarah's Story
I received a BA in French in 1984 and an MA in Asian Studies in 1986 from Washington University. After graduating I moved to Japan where I lived and worked for 12 years. I started out teaching English in local public schools, moved on to working for the governor's international relations office in Nagano, and finally worked for the Olympic Organizing Committee from 1994 to 1998 as a French-Japanese-English proofreader-translator-interpretor. ed with my parents on Sims for a year while I got my feet back on US ground. I worked managing a 50-horse hunter-jumper show barn in Chesterfield for three years until I met my sweetie Rob in November of 2000. Rob is a choreographer and is a professor of dance at UMSL. We got married in December of 2001 and had Maggie in January of 2004. In August of 2004 I started teaching French at Fort Zumwalt West High and love my life in O'Fallon as a Mom/Step-Mom to three beautiful girls/Teacher/etc.
