Sarah's Story
Life
After graduating from West Essex I went to college at the Savannah College of Art and Design, where I majored in Architecture. I met my husband, Adam, in Savannah and we were married six months later. He was an Airborne Ranger, in the First Ranger Bt. We then moved to Ft Carson, Co where we had our first son, Joshua. Two years later, Adam got out of the Army and we moved to Illinois where he attended Illinois State University. I got a job with Enterprise Rent A Car (a lot of good college did me:) When Adam graduated he was offered a position with Johnson and Johnson in Omaha, NE. I transfered with Enterprise and continued to be promoted to Area Manager. We had our daughter, Sydney, there in 1999. d, Maxwell. In the fall of 2003 Adam was promoted again to Area Manager of the Houston Area for Medtronic, and we were off again to a new home. I decided to "retire" and be a stay at home mom.
In March of 2008 Adam was promoted again to Director of Managed Markets for Medtronic, a position with national responsibility. His office is in Los Angeles, but our family continues to live in Houston until our oldest son graduates from High School next year. Until then, Adam is commuting between TX and CA.
I keep myself busy with three kids and all of thier activities, being the Vice President of our PTA, the President of the ROTC Booster Club, as well as the Vice President of our Wrestling Booster Club. I also work on the local board of Habitat for Humanity helping with thier fundraising efforts.
I am also currently training for the Nashville Marathon in April...wish me luck!
