Bruce's Story
Born and raised in Stockton. Went to Fillmore Elementary, then Fremont Jr. High, then Franklin Sr. High, then UC Berkeley. After I graduated, I worked a the Lawrence Hall of Science as a technician for exhibits and design, then I moved down to Los Angeles, transfered to UCLA and worked as a machinist for the Civil Engineering dept. After my wife got her Masters in Physical Therapy at USC, we decided to move to San Francisco, and I transfered to UC Berkeley again, this time working for UC Extension, running the computer labs at night, part time, then I changed jobs and wor...Expand for more
k for the campus Library Systems workstation and network support group as a systems administrator, after a few years transfered down and lived in Santa Barbara where I was a systems administrator for NCEAS - a ecological sciences thinktank for analyzing environmental and ecological data, then we moved back up to Berkeley again, where I've been working for the Space Physics Laboratory. During my career, I've met and worked with great and wonderful people. The last few years I started studying Wushu and traditional Kung Fu, also trying to learn new languages and other skills.
