Saundra's Story
Life
Since graduating, I attended Mt. Sac for a year. I worked in retail for many years. I moved and lived in Whittier, La Mirada and Huntington Beach for awhile. I got a job at Con-Way Freight in 1989 and still there. I have been with my husband Joe since 1991 and we married in 1995. We have five daughters 9,10,21,25,275. My youngest step daughter 21 lives with us. We enjoy our family time. Going to Lake Havasu being on the boat and soaking up the sun. We love to take rides on our Harley and go out with friends. Workplace
I have been with Con-Way since 1989. I started out as a customer service rep. Then I took a position at our general office in the Personnel & Safety Department. From there I took a promotion into Operations at our Long Beach facility. I was then promoted to Office Manager in 1993. I then took a promotion to an Account Executive in 1995. I was them promoted to Sales Manager out if our Santa Fe Springs facility frim 1998 to 2001. I decided to take a step down to become a Senior Account Executive in our Orange facility in 2001 to be closer to home and to spend more time with my two little daughters.
