Richard's Story
After HS, I joined a small firm in Pacoima doing industrial photography. We made various high-tech products using Photo-Chemical Machining and electroforming. After a dozen years with this company, I moved up to Silicon Valley to work for a high-volume manufacturing firm producing lead frames, the connectors between I.C. packages and printed circuit boards. ss photomasks for the imaging industry - flat panel displays, etc. I started a business called the Photoplot Store in 1989 selling CAD services and photomasks, which I continue to operate through my December 2019 retirement.
I have three adult grandchildren from my first marriage. My daughter is an entrepreneur in Denver and my son is a network admin. in the Seattle area. My third - and final - wife and I are enjoying our retirement, using Colorado Springs as the home base for our travels.
