Kristin's Story
Life
My life is not anything like I ever imagined it would turn out, and I'm loving every minute of it! My husband and I live in a small town in northern Oakland county on 26 acres. We spend most of our time outdoors with our two weimaraners or working on our home. We are both anxiously awaiting the birth of our first baby in March 2006.
May 2009--Time to update the profile--our daughter is now 3 years old. Katy has a great sense of humor and imagination and makes me laugh every single day. She is also the older sister to James, who is almost three months old. I can't wait to see what he turns out to be like. So far, he is a very easy going baby. (He would have to be, with my husband for a father!)

and I knew each other for 6 years before we went on our first date. Once we had that first date, though, we fell in love qiuckly and were married not too long after. After six years of near misses, I still marvel at the fact that we finally ended up together. I really believe things end up just the way they were meant to be.
I love my career, but again, it is nothing that I ever planned to do. I am a supply chain management consultant to hospitals and healthcare systems. I work out of a home office, but spend many days in the OR, watching surgeries and looking for waste with the products the surgeons are using. Getting into this field was just pure dumb luck, but I am lucky to do a job that I find so fascinating.
