Robert's Story
Life
Known as Khris (middle name).
Quiet and kind of shy in high school. Kind of odd high school experience. I attended 8th grade and high school the same year ('80) and ended up graduating as a Junior in '84. Enlisted in Air Force in '87. Married '91-two daughters: Arielle 1991, Jessica 1995. Been around the world...started out in Dover, DE ('87-'92)...Yokota, Japan ('92-'99) and been stationed in NM since 1999--Retired from Air Force in Apr 2011; still reside in Albuquerque. Done a few interesting things--was a youth pastor for a couple years at New Hope Full Gospel Baptist Church and got to go on some really cool mission trips to Mexico. o mentor on a more permanent basis. Currently (2012 season), I am helping coach U14 girls volleyball club team; pretty interesting as the girls are great kids and their families are terrific supporters of the team.
College
Went to ASU for two semesters: Fall 1984 & Spring 1985. Grades weren't too great, so took a break and joined Army Reserve. Went to Basic and Advanced Training from July - Dec 1985 and then took some courses at Phoenix College for one or two semesters-lost interest and decided to go Active Duty in the Air Force in May 1987. Pulled my head out in 2005 and started back in college. Finished a BS in Organizational Leadership and graduated Jun 2009. I'm finally done! I will probably end up pursuing an MBA, but it could change.
