Elizabeth's Story

Life My Spouse I met my husband in a church singles activity in Yakima, Washington My Pets They are all outdoors pets. We have too many allergies in our family to dare have them indoors. My Kids I have four beautiful daughters. Through them I have gained 4 great sons-in-law. My Hobbies I love music and love to sing. I have been a member of a women's choir here in Yakima since 1970. I am a Genealogist and really love doing research. I do it as an at home job for other people. I spend a lot of time on the internet doing that. I have used those skills to help me find former Navy friends also. Check out the photo albums I have posted. New additions This covers to the year of 2012. Among other things I have gained five grandsons, one grandaughter and another grandaughter to be born in March. I gained a new hip in 2005 and am about read to have the other one done also.. l I was 62 years old to finally become a Grandma! Bracken Michael Shea was born 20 Jan 2006, Colton Paul Shea was born 26 Mar 2007, Devin Harrison Shea was born 29 Nov 2008, Korben Ray Edwards was born 8 Jan 2011, Abigail Elizabeth Vie Campbell was born 30 Jan 2011, and Easton Watkins Shea was born 9 Sept 2011. I never knew just how wonderful this experience was going to be. The new hip has been a great addition also. Military Joining the WAVES was a great learning and growing experience in my life, it helped me to come out of my shell and get to know people and be able to talk to them. I made friends with many wonderful people and am now in the process of re-acquainting myself with some of them. In fact we have had 3-4 reunions already and more in the planning. As one of my friends has said, who would have imagined that these former friends would still mean so much in my life at this point.
