From the time I first arrived in Santa Rosa in September 1971 and for my first days at Montgomery High School (we had a record number of days over 100 degrees in a row) to the venerable oaks of SRJC, the lights of the city and SF bay, the newness of SSU in the mid-70's, Empire Law School, the race of businss over decades in downtown Santa Rosa, the Santa Rosa Rugby Club to the Santa Rosa Rotary Club, to my current life as a martial arts instructor at our awesome school, Seika Ryu Martial Arts, the path has been an incredible adventure. All the lives and loves, passions and pursuits, friends old and new, and a strong family has woven a tapestry of wonder and incredible beauty. The people I have shared the path with, for the most part, have brought great joy and happiness. The majestic beauty of the redwood empire is never lost on me (I came from the flat lands of Kansas). I almost always walk around in a state of amazement at the physical beauty that surrounds us. I have been blessed with a stunningly beautiful and loving wife, a capable intellect, and a desire to pursue life to it's fullest measure.
