Scott's Story

High school was just a blurr i was always high or drunk until i had a wake up call and nearly killed myself when i crashed my 1969 Dodge Charger and if i wasn't drunk i would have probaly been killed. Went to work at a paint factory at 19 got married to Patriica Duran at 21 we had our first child when i was 23 Scott Jr and our second Lauren when i was 26. At 23 i went to work for Behr Paint in Santa Ana i started as a mechanic and moved all the way up the ranks to Dir within a few short years and my job took me all over the country and i missed alot of the kids growing up i was gone for 3 weeks out of the month and this lasted for several years and just as i completed the largest factory build out for Behr in Dallas and just before my 20th year 19 years and 6mos i was let go (at willed) my position Dir of Engineering was no longer needed, i would have been fully vested and could have retired after my 20th year of service. i didn't let that get me down and i didn't try to take them to court or anything i just relaxed for a few months and found another engineering job I now work for Fresh and Easy Neiborhood Market in Riverside I took this job without...Expand for more
even knowing who or what the company was they were trying to fly under the radar and did not let any info out i went to 4 interviews over a 3mo period and just when i thought i would never hear anything from them they called and said your hired but only if you can start right away so i took a chance and jumped on board and its been a wild ride since went to UK and Italy to inspect equipment prior to shipment to us and now we plane to build more factories on the west coast i have a feeling its gonna be like my last job gone 3 weeks home a week but at least now the kids are grown up and are not bothered by me being gone. Both of my kids are in college and costing me a bloody fortune i am just glad i have my truck, boat and seadoos paid for so all i have to do is put gas in them and go. I have resided in corona for 14 years and love this city but as soon as the kids graduate from their college courses and we send them off to their professional lives Pat and I will be selling the house moving south to Temecula to buy a house or townhome and hopefully stay there until retirement. well thats all for now if you want to contact me at s barthol at hot mail
