Hmmm., A bio...There was a classmate back in high school that wrote something in my yearbook that has haunted me since he wrote it. Something to the effect of, "Scott, you've always been the kind of kid who just slides by, but if you ever tried, I think you'ld be surprised by what you could accomplish." Okay, first of all, who thinks or writes that way in high school?? I mean come on!! Anyway...he was/is right. I drive my 3 children (Kirby 16, Taylor 12, and Kyle 10) to school every day. I'm there to pick them up every night except Friday, when their mother gets them every other weekend (Oh yeah, I slid through that too.) I went to school, and got my real estate license, (wanna buy a house?) and I absolutely love the real estate business, as well as the flexibility it gives me to spend time with my kids. My success or failure is in my own hands, and it feels wonderful! So to recap...Graduation - 20 years of "sliding" - 3 wonderful kids - some small measure of maturity - the here and now...
